Capitol Technology University will be celebrating our 2024 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, April 27th on our campus in Laurel, MD. We are extremely proud of our graduates and their outstanding academic achievements that have brought them to this moment!
Our guest speaker this year will be esteemed meteorologist Jennifer Delgado of Fox 5 DC News.
The event will be livestreamed on YouTube, with replay to follow. Watch it live starting at 9:45 a.m. on April 27th.

9:00 - 9:30 a.m. | Guest arrival and seating under tent or in library or auditorium*
9:45 a.m. | Processional Walk begins
10:00 a.m. | Graduation Ceremony begins
*Guests can find unassigned seating under the graduation tent outside our McGowan Academic Center. The event will also be livestreamed from our Library and Auditorium on the first floor of the MCI Building and guests are welcome to watch the ceremony at those locations as well.

Doctoral Hooding Ceremony
Doctoral Students will be participating in a Hooding Ceremony on Friday, April 26 at 4:00 p.m. in the Gudelsky Auditorium. Doctoral graduates should arrive no later than 3:00 p.m. with their regalia to the Puente Library to check in.

Graduate & Alumni Reception
Graduating students and alumni are encouraged to join us for our reception event on Friday evening, April 26, starting at 6:00 p.m. in our McGowan Academic Center. This lively event will feature food, fun, and entertainment in celebration of our Class of 2024!
