Derick Veenstra

Rick Veenstra is responsible for all fiscal matters, buildings and grounds operations, human resource policy and benefits, and auxiliary services. Veenstra’s duties have included development oversight and management of four major construction projects at Capitol, including the 1981-83 construction of the college’s first permanent campus.

Veenstra joined the college in 1975 and has served the college in a number of additional positions, including director of admissions, director of administration, and director of professional development.
