Capitol College has identified five constituents that can help improve and maintain
its program. These constituents are students, faculty, employers of our students, alumni
and the industrial advisory board.
The following calendar marks important assessment events using our constituents during
the academic year.
Spring Semester
Faculty members discuss results of alumni and employer surveys that are conducted
in the fall of the previous year.
Employer surveys are distributed and collected
at the annual career fair. Academic Deans conduct focus groups with employers.
Results of alumni and employer surveys are discussed at the spring meeting of industrial
advisory board. Any adopted changes are implemented in the fall.
Graduating students complete survey on outcomes. Senior survey results are compiled and
analyzed by department.
Fall Semester
Faculty members discuss results of senior outcomes survey at orientation.
Surveys are sent to college alumni who graduated two and five years ago.
Results of the senior outcomes survey are discussed at the fall meeting of the
industrial advisory board.
Results from the alumni surveys and the employer surveys are compiled and
analyzed for discussion next year.
