The Graduate School, USDA - Graduate School, USDA has partnered with Capitol College to offer online courses in network security management to government employees and other GSUSDA students. The courses are the first offered through GSUSDA that take advantage of real-time, live audio in its online delivery. Designed to meet the information assurance needs of key employees in US agencies and companies. Employees can take course as individuals or register in groups and create virtual classrooms within their organizations.
The Maryland Alliance: The Maryland Alliance for Information and Infrastructure Awareness (MAIIA) is comprised of: Capitol College, Johns Hopkins University (JHU-APL), University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), University of Maryland University College (UMUC), and Towson University (TU). The Alliance was created to serve as a center of gravity for thought leaders, researchers, and educators in physical and cyber security and infrastructure protection, technology, and policy development. The mission of MAIIA is to enhance the security of Maryland. The primary focus of the Alliance will be on: developing training, awareness, and educational programs for cyber assurance professionals serving state and city government to include law enforcement, emergency/first responders, and other entities as determined by state and local government officials; research involving cyber assurance, infrastructure protection, and physical security issues and policies; develop new ways to secure Maryland's physical and cyber security infrastructures; research and facilitate the transfer of new technologies, practices, and policies state and local law enforcement and emergency/first responders; and, develop inter-state and intra-state alliances.
