If you have an engineering background and are looking for a career in the space industry, the master of science in astronautical engineering is the right degree for you. With concentrations in project management, satellite operations and mission planning, remote sensing and systems engineering, MSAE students will learn to work as engineers and develop scientific understanding of the spacecraft.
MSAE students are uniquely positioned to take advantage of Capitol’s online curriculum. Some master’s courses will follow a hybrid format, taking place both in the classroom and using the synchronous Capitol LIVE! platform. Other classes will be taught online only using the synchronous Capitol LIVE! platform. This affords students the convenience of attending class anywhere Internet access is available.
Upon graduating with an MSAE degree, students will be fully prepared to lead satellite subsystem design projects, work on mission operations and analysis, or in the areas of project management and system engineering. Additionally, the MSAE degree provides a concentration for those interested in the science of remote sensing. To specialize in one of the concentration areas students must complete the appropriate electives.
