Graduate Payment Options

Graduate students are required to pay at least 50 percent of tuition upon registration or prior to the start of class. If payment is not received, you will be assessed a $30 deferment fee. The remaining balance is due four weeks after classes begin. Nonpayment of tuition could result in cancellation of your registration. Sponsored students must submit tuition assistance paperwork in lieu of the deposit. Students receiving financial aid should contact the business office to discuss payment options.

Obligation for Payment
All students are obligated to pay tuition within the provisions of the refund schedule. If you fail to make a payment to the college when it is due, you risk being prohibited from taking classes or any examinations, or having your transcript, certificate or diploma withheld. Outstanding accounts will be sent to collections.

Methods of Payment
You can make payments to the business office. If your company wants to be billed directly, it is your responsibility to contact the business office. The business office accepts military tuition assistance, cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

Financial Aid Opportunities
You may be eligible for student loans if you are registered for six or more credits. Contact the office of financial aid for more information.

Veterans' Benefits
The Office of Financial Aid can help you explore your VA benefit options. You can expect an educational allowance based on courses that are legitimate parts of the degree programs approved for veterans. You must immediately notify the veterans' affairs office upon any change in course load. Each campus can provide you with the necessary paperwork to begin educational benefits.

Employer Sponsorship
If students are sponsored by an employer of other appropriate third parties, they must include authorization forms with their registration and Capitol College will bill the employer directly.

If students are reimbursed by an employer, then students must pay in full or follow the deferred payment plan. The cost of the deferred payment plan is $30.
