Tuition Refund Policy

Dropping or Withdrawing From Classes
It is your responsibility to officially drop any class you are registered for, even if you did not attend the first class meeting.  Not attending classes is not an official withdrawal, and it doesn't relieve you of your financial obligation to Capitol College.

Full refunds are available only if you officially drop before the first day of classes.  After the first day, you will be subject to the tuition refund schedule, as clarified below. Refunds are effective on the date the drop or withdrawal is submitted to the Office of Registration and Records.

Refunds are given as a percentage of the tuition for each course.  The percentage listed equates to the refund you'd receive if your balance was fully paid before the start of class.  If you're on a company contract, you may be personally responsible for the balance of your tuition if your company pays only for completed courses.
