Capitol College is the only independent college in Maryland dedicated to engineering, computer science, information technology and business. The Dean serves as the Academic leader of the School of Engineering and Information Sciences. He/she provides clear vision and leadership in defining and implementing institutional goals, objectives, policies and priorities for the school. We are looking for a leader who will leverage our base of excellence in EE and EET, and take the school into new arenas of engineering and computer science, as well as link those disciplines with leadership and business. In addition to directing scheduling of semester course offerings and supervising and evaluating faculty , department chairs, and staff, it is the dean who fosters and maintains relationships between departments and administration, industry, and government to determine needs for new courses and programs.

Candidates should have an advanced degree in the areas of engineering or computer science/systems, and/or successful business leadership experience in this area.
