Virtual Library
Ask the Librarian
The John G. and Beverly A. Puente Library has a collection of more than 10,000 books, audio/video selections and periodicals that support the curriculum. Networked study areas allow you to use laptop computers, calculators and other electronic study aids. Additionally, each workstation has software that supports classes, access to the internet, the Library's Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), and our Virtual Library which includes Safari Books (full-text technical and business e-books), Academic Search Premier and ABI/Inform and more.
Connect to the virtual library for access to online databases such as the Maryland Digital Library, Proquest, Safari Bookshelf and SIRS.
The multimedia classroom, the William G. McGowan Center for Innovative Teaching, has a local area network that connects 15 student computer workstations to all library electronic resources. Each stations is configured for multimedia presentations and training programs.
Fall and Spring Hours
Monday - Thursday: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
