The Puente Library staff will proctor exams for all classes by appointment only.
Exams will be proctored as follows:
Monday – Friday (excluding campus holidays or closures) between 9 AM and 4 PM: the exam must be completed by 4 PM.
All exams must be scheduled at least 1 (one) week in advance.
Walk-in requests will not be accepted.
Unconfirmed requests will not be honored.
Telephone requests will not be accepted.
To schedule a proctor you must follow these procedures:
The student must email a request to library@capitol-college.edu. Include your name, class title, professor and the date and time you wish to schedule.
The student will receive an email from the Library Staff assigned as your proctor, confirming your request.
The student will advise his/her professor of the assigned staff's email address and cc library@capitol-college.edu
For the exam students must follow these guidelines:
The student must contact the Library Staff assigned the day prior to the scheduled exam, to ensure that the staff received the exam from the professor.
The student must bring a Capitol College or government issued (such as a driver’s license) photo ID.
The student should bring all necessary materials as allowed by the professor for the exam.
No cell phones or conversations with others are allowed during the exam.
The Library will not fax, scan or forward exams in any manner other than email.
