Steps in Applying

You can apply- and be accepted -anytime right up until registration. Note, however, that there are financial aid deadlines.

Step 1: Complete the Application.
Complete and submit the application. You can:

Step 2: Have Your Undergraduate Degree Transcripts Sent to Capitol.
An official, signed transcript must be sent directly from your school(s) to the Office of Admissions. If you attended more than one institution, only those transcripts with the final degree posted should be submitted.

Step 3: Explore Financial Aid.
If you're applying for need-based financial aid, obtain the Free Application for Federal Student Aid after January 1. The FAFSA, as it's called, is due March 2 to the Department of Education. Our U.S. Department of Education Institutional Code is 001436.

Step 4: Review the schedule of classes. Courses begin every two months.
