First-Time Students
Welcome! We're pleased that you're applying to Capitol.
You're a first-time freshman if you have never enrolled in a college or university after receiving a high school diploma. If you received college credit while attending high school, you're also considered a freshman.
However, if you attended college after high school and received 15 or more credits, you are a transfer student and the process is a little different.
Getting Started
Remember, you can apply-and get accepted-anytime before fall or spring registration. (Please note that we encourage early applications and that there are financial aid priority dates.)
