First-year: Steps in Applying

Step 1: If you're a first-time freshman under the age of 22, take the SAT I or ACT.
Have the scores sent to us. Our official SAT and ACT codes are the same: 5101. Capitol does award credits for the Advanced Placement test. To receive credit, students should have a score of 3 or higher. These scores should be sent in with your SAT or ACT scores.

Step 2: Complete the Application.
Complete and submit the application.

Step 3: Have Your High School Transcripts Sent to Capitol.
An official, signed transcript of your high school work must be sent directly from your school to this address:

Your school should also submit your ACT or SAT scores, if you have not had the testing agency send the scores directly to the Office of Admissions. Our code is 5101.

Step 4: Visit the campus.
Come see firsthand our state-of-the-art Unix and Windows computer labs, high tech electronic labs, and multimedia classrooms. We welcome visits anytime, but we also offer special visiting days. RSVP to one of our open houses or request a private tour of the campus.

Step 5: Explore Financial Aid.
Capitol College offers private and institutional grants, scholarships, private and federal loan options, federal and Capitol College work-study programs, and veteran's benefits.
