NOTE: This seminar is under development, date TBA.
The Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) requires information assurance professionals and managers throughout the federal government to comply with a defined set of policies, procedures, and security countermeasures to protect sensitive information and critical infrastructures.
A FISMA training program currently under development by CICPC will provide IT and IA professionals with the essential knowledge of current requirements published by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Federal and corporate IA professionals and managers must understand and comply with requirements including system categorization, identification, installation, and maintenance of baseline IA countermeasure system testing, certification, and accreditation.
This comprehensive program leverages the talents and skills of selected instructors with vast experience in information assurance, risk management, the Department of Defense Certification and Accreditation Process, and related professional areas.
Those who successfully complete the CICPC FISMA Training Program will receive a certificate of completion.
