To promote the economic development and quality of life in the areas surrounding its campus, Capitol College is a member of various business and industry organizations, including:
- Opnet Technologies Inc., a company based in Bethesda, Maryland has donated its Opnet software suite as a teaching and capstone research tool for Capitol's undergraduate and graduate programs. The software can be used to predict the performance of networks constructed in college labs and also help students understand TCP/IP and other network protocols. Capitol College students and faculty can also use the Opnet software package for research in the computer labs.
These organizations promote industrial growth, technological innovation and access to education.
