Jump Start Juniors is one of the largest high school STEM event on the east coast. The event brings hundreds of high school juniors from the region to Capitol College for an active showcase of academic and career pathways in the STEM fields. Students interact with college students, faculty, staff, and meet representatives from local STEM organizations such as NASA and Northrop Grumman. Valuable sponsorship and visibility opportunities are available for your organization.

Lockheed Martin-demonstrated the “5th-Gear” robotics program
Used to teach competitors in FIRST Robotics how to drive their robots on the playing field.
Northrop Grumman – had a display with give aways
Pax River- had a display with give aways
Nav Air - brought a flight simulator
Students got to pilot a virtual fighter jet in the classroom, while in another room there was a G-force experiment for kids got to learn about the effects of high speed flight.
NASA- launched a miniature rocket
NSA- had a display with give aways
