The Online Career Center is an online job posting and resume database site, maintained by NACELink. Undergraduate students, graduate students and alumni may post their resumes and search job postings for part-time, full-time and co-op employment, on or off campus. Information on upcoming workshops and career fairs that are held at Capitol and other regional venues are also posted on this site by Career Services.
Registering for the Online Career Center will provide you with the information and resources to maximize your career search, enabling you to:
To register for the Online Career Center, create a username and password, and complete a brief profile during your first login. After creating an account, you may post your resumes and cover letters using the upload function, and search the job postings.
Career Services must approve all uploaded resumes and cover letters before they can be used to apply for positions, generally occurring within 24 hours of posting. Until such time, they are given a pending status. Once your documents are approved, you may apply for posted off-campus jobs and Career Services staff can refer your resume to various employers. A resume does not need to be on file for a student to apply for on-campus work-study positions.
You are encouraged to update your profile and contact information each semester and keep your resume up-to-date. The information in your profile allows Career Services to alert you to career opportunities and provide information about upcoming events.
