December Degree Verification

Students who anticipate completion of all degree requirements in December are eligible for a degree verification.

A degree verification includes a copy of the official transcripts and a degree verification letter indicating completion. To be eligible for degree verification, students must:
  1. Apply for graduation
  2. Complete all degree requirements by December
  3. Pay the graduation fee to the Business Office
  4. Finalize all graduation requirements and be cleared of all obligations (see college catalog)
  5. Email a request to registrar{at}capitol-college.edu requesting a degree verification. Information to include:
    • Name
    • ID number
    • Degree program
    • Address to which the verification is to be sent (or student will pick up documents)
The Office of Registration and Records will confirm that all obligations have been met and confer the degree. The transcripts and degree verification letter will be sent to the address provided. Students who wish to pick up the documents will be emailed at the time they are ready for pick up. Students must present a valid photo ID for pick up.
