




To assist the entire Capitol College community seek and successfully secure external grant funding, the Foundation Relations office (with approval from the college’s Executive Council as well as with adhering to government rules and regulations) the following policies need to be followed.
The Grant Submission Policy provides an approved policy for the Capitol College community regarding submission of funding documents to private, corporate, and federal-based foundations.
All forms related to the grant submission process including the Grant Submission Policy, Proposal for Grant Funding Form, Grant Routing Form, and Grant Tracking Form are available on the Public Drive under Foundation Relations Documents.
The Allowable and Unallowable Costs document provides an approved policy for the Capitol College community regarding allowable and unallowable costs in sponsored programs.
The Principal Investigator (PI) and/or Project Manager can refer to this policy in conjunction with rules and guidelines outlined specifically in a grant proposal solicitation for clarification on allowable and unallowable costs. Documentation related to the grant proposal solicitation are kept on file in the Foundation Relations office. Documentation related to current Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-21 documents are filed in the Business Office.
