Opnet Technologies Inc. - Capitol College uses the Opnet software suite as a teaching and capstone research tool in its undergraduate and graduate programs. The software, which has been donated entirely by the Bethesda-based company, can be used to predict the performance of networks constructed in college labs and also help students understand TCP/IP and other network protocols. Capitol College students and faculty can also use the Opnet software package for research in the computer labs.

Maryland National Guard - Capitol College has formed a partnership with the Maryland National Guard that allows Guard members to take up to 12 credit hours per academic year at one-half the full tuition cost, acting as the only institution that offers members such a substantial discount on graduate and undergraduate programs.
