Immediately following the ceremony, graduates, family members and guests are invited to gather for light refreshments in the Campus Center.
Diplomas for degrees are printed once each year. Students who have met all graduation requirements and application deadlines may pick up their diplomas following commencement with photo identification.
Students who complete degrees between yearly commencements will be issued transcripts indicating a completed degree with the month and year the degree was completed. Be reminded that transcripts always reflect the exact semester your degree program is completed, however the date of degree conferred on transcripts and diplomas is the month and year of the commencement ceremony.
If you complete all degree requirements by the end of the summer (Term I, Term II or summer semester classes) you are permitted to take part in the commencement ceremonies as degree candidates. This includes graduate students who have up to the maximum of nine credits remaining and are enrolled for the summer session. If you are not enrolled by the final day of summer registration, you will not be permitted to participate as a degree candidate.
Students who plan on receiving their degree in absentia should complete and turn in the diploma request form.
