The Institute for Innovation and Leadership offers students who have the courage and ambition to dream of leadership careers the opportunity to obtain an education that will enable them to better themselves, their families, our nation and the world.

To make the institute successful, Capitol College needs the support of alumni, parents, friends, foundations, corporations and agencies. The time, talent and funds you provide, and your help in leading us to additional sources of support, will strengthen the college and prepare its students to be 21st century innovation leaders.

The growth of the Institute will proceed in gradual steps commensurate with available resources, with the initial emphasis on funding for scholarships and an endowment to bring students to the institute and build its activities, followed by funding for research and capital. The phased campaign will include the following categories:

• Scholarship and fellowship funds to provide tuition support.
• Endowment funds to support the institute director and faculty chair positions.
• Innovation and discovery funds to support research, symposia and special events.
• Building funds to support expansion of facilities and technology.

While initial major gifts are being secured, a leadership advisory board of business and public leaders will advise and support the direction and emphases of the institute and the campaign.
