The Capitol College community gathers for commencement once every year in May on the main campus in Laurel. Commencement ceremonies are held outside, rain or shine, and students are encouraged to invite anyone they wish to attend.
Visiting Campus
Parents, friends and families of graduating students are encouraged to check the links below for directions to campus, the campus map, general parking information, local accommodations and information about the Baltimore/Washington, DC corridor. Keepsakes from the ceremony, including video and photography, can also be obtained from our select vendors.
Guests with Special Needs
Capitol provides handicapped parking for disabled or handicapped guests, situated close to the graduation tent. Staff volunteers will direct you to appropriate parking spaces and are available to assist in helping guests to their seats.
After the Ceremony
Immediately following the ceremony, family members and guests are invited to gather with the graduates for light refreshments in the Campus Center. This is a great opportunity to congratulate students, chat with faculty and staff and take pictures.
