In honor of National Poetry Month in April, the John G. & Beverly A. Puente Library at Capitol College is holding the 7th Annual Poetry Contest. Students, faculty and staff are invited to submit original poems for the contest beginning March 17 and ending April 11, and are asked to adhere to the following rules:

Poem Rules:

1. One poem per person
2. No topic restrictions
3. Maximum of two pages
4. No name on the poem
5. Must have a title
6. Any font

First Prize will receive a $50 gift certificate, Second Prize a $25 gift certificate and Third Prize a $15 gift certificate, all to Amazon.com. To submit poems or ask questions, visit the Circulation Desk in the Puente Library or email Sandra Pisano.
