The annual one-day IT Security conference targeted towards the Higher Education community will be held at the Columbia campus of Loyola College on June 6, 2008. Capitol's VP of Academic Affairs and CAO, Vic Maconachy, has been invited to give the closing address (from approximately 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.) regarding the challenges colleges and universities face when adapting to the constantly changing security threat landscape. Audience members will include technical staffs, Vice Presidents of IT, CIOs, security officers, Directors of Networks, Data Centers, and other technical staff from across Maryland's 4-year and 2-year colleges and universities.
