All are cordially invited to attend a special collaborative activity in order to unite with EduSerc and other members of the education community in an effort to form strategic partnerships in education for 2008. If you are an educator, principal, school system or university official, industry professional, business leader or legislative leader, this event is for you!
In partnership with Base Realignment and Closure Office, Howard County, and Prince George's Economic Development Corporation, EduSerc's multi-county panel and networking event is an opportunity for education community stakeholders, EduSerc and BRAC officials to promote collaborative partnerships. Other objectives include a panel discussion to determine the roles of schools and educational organizations, to better understand workforce needs to prepare for BRAC, and to facilitate networking between attendees. Special guests Kent Menser, Executive Director of BRAC, and Wanda Plumber of the Prince George's Economic Development Corporation will be in attendance.
This event will begin with hors d'oeurves and networking opportunities at 6:30 p.m. with the program to follow at 7 p.m. Click here for free registration and RSVP. For more information on this event or EduSerc, please contact Yvette Smith at 301-498-2899 ext. 105.
