Cancelled due to inclement weather.
Alumnus Laura Dugan (BS03) returns to campus to speak on why good writing matters -- even to engineers. Dugan graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science in software and internet applications. During her undergraduate years, she participated in Alpha Chi, web radio and student tutoring. Dugan received her master of science degree in professional writing from Towson University, where she completed a full-length novel as part of her master’s thesis. She currently works as a communications specialist for Quality Insights of Pennsylvania, the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization for Pennsylvania. Her articles have been published in the The Patriot-News of Harrisburg, Pa., and she has freelanced for a local radio station.
