Current and entering students planning to study the master of science in network security program are encouraged to apply to the competitive Information Assurance Scholarship Program, sponsored by the Department of Defense.
Only full-time students are eligible to apply for the Information Assurance Scholarships, which includes full tuition, a $15,000 annual stipend, and internship opportunities during school breaks.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens and agree to work for the Department of Defense or one of its agencies after graduation, for a length of time corresponding to their scholarship, and they must be eligible to apply for a security clearance.
The network security program at Capitol College is designated by the National Security Agency as a Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education, a recognition that places Capitol’s among the top information assurance programs in the country.
The college must receive scholarship applications by Jan. 31, 2006.
