High school students, their families and anyone considering college are invited to attend the spring open house at Capitol College from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 25 in the William G. McGowan Academic Center.
Representatives from the Space Operations Institute, admissions, financial aid, academic programs and student services will be available to meet with visitors to the Laurel campus. Activities include a tour of the campus, including facilities such as the multimedia classrooms and apartment-style residence halls, as well as demonstrations in the engineering, computer and science laboratories.
Future students will have many opportunities to ask questions and find out more about Capitol College's unique offerings, such as a five-year tuition lock and the career-start guarantee.
"Visiting the college and our open house events are the best way to get a taste of what Capitol College is about," said Darnell Edwards, director of admissions. "We hope that your visit will convince you that Capitol is the ideal place to live and learn."
All visiting students will receive a free Capitol College t-shirt and a free lunch will be provided to everyone who attends. The sessions and parking are free, but pre-registration is requested.
Anyone who cannot attend an open house is welcome to schedule a campus tour and information session with the Office of Admissions. Daily tours are by appointment only, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
