Identity, Credentialing and Access Management (ICAM) Lab
The Capitol Technology University Identity, Credential, & Access Management (ICAM) Laboratory provides a structure that promotes innovative thinking. The ICAM LAB, located on the& second floor of the McGowan Academic Center, is designed to provide the academic knowledge and professional skills to allow students to advance their employment opportunities within the field of Physical Security, Information Assurance, Business and Acquisition Management. The establishment of the ICAM LAB will follow the tenets of the Federal Identity, Credentialing and Access Management construct as well as industry adopted identity and access management (IAM) standards and guidelines.
The ICAM is just one of Capitol Tech's many security focused labs and centers available to students. To

The ICAM lab:
- Provides intensive hands-on experience to increase student knowledge
- Serves as an ICAM demonstration and career awareness outreach program for high school and middle school students
- Provides Education, with courses in the undergraduate and graduate curricula (IAE-440 & IAE-640)
- Conducts Research, with Charles Herbert Flowers High School Student Interns performing ICAM Research activities
