Capitol College Named Military Friendly by Military Advanced Education

LAUREL, MD (December 6, 2011) – Capitol College is pleased to announce that it will be featured in Military Advanced Education’s “2012 Guide to Military-Friendly Colleges and Universities Honorees.” This is the third straight year that Capitol has been mentioned in the annual report.

 

Colleges and universities were selected to the list based on the various benefits they provide active-duty military members, veterans and their dependents.

 

“We are thrilled to once again be recognized by Military Advanced Education, as an institution that is devoted to serving military members,” Tony Miller, director of graduate admissions, said. “Capitol’s affordable, accessible and efficient programs make higher education possible for those who serve our country.”

 

Capitol is a participating member of the Yellow Ribbon GI Educational Enhancement Program, which allows qualifying participants to receive a Capitol education free of charge. The college has also been approved by the Veterans Administration, allowing active duty, reserves, National Guard and veterans to use their educational benefits at Capitol. Additionally, Maryland National Guard members can receive a 50% tuition discount.
