What motivated you to get into teaching, and what do you enjoy most about the profession?
The administration of the college needed more professors and I was convinced to give teaching a try. I love studying the newest technology and enjoy sharing it with the students.

What is your most enjoyable research project or other academic work?
Mostly, keeping up with emerging technologies and revising coursework to include new material.

Describe any of your proudest academic or professional accomplishments, awards, publications, etc.
I am the most proud to be a three-time recipient of the Esteemed Professor Award, an honor that is voted on by the students.

What book is on your nightstand right now?
The Holy Bible and Herman Waok's The Winds of War (geesh, you could almost call that war and peace).

What have your students taught you?
My students have taught me patience, understanding, and persistence.

What one technology do you wish were available now?
Inexpensive clean energy.

What kinds of projects/committees/groups are you active in on-campus?
On campus I am a part of the Faculty Handbook Revision committee, the Middle States Student Learning Assessment committee and I serve as the faculty adviser to the Gaming Club and am the general studies "Shepherd."

What are your interests and activities off-campus?
Stock Market Investing, Gardening, K-3 youth at church, Men’s Group at church, playing video games

What should incoming students know about you as a person, and as a professor?
I love teaching, I love technology, I enjoy encouraging average students to improve and develop an active interest in the coursework.
