Capitol College's online, graduate, engineering programs rank high with U.S. News and World Report.
Capitol College created its online programs to make it possible for busy professionals to earn master’s degrees or technology-related certificates via live audio sessions.
All of Capitol’s graduate degree programs are offered entirely online, with courses given on weekday evenings and Saturdays and the doctorate program is predominantly online with a few weekend residencies. Courses blend synchronous (real-time), professor-led events with asynchronous learning sessions in which students access and study course material at their convenience. Classes are recorded for later replay. Students communicate with the instructor and classmates via email and discussion boards. Classes are small, averaging 20 each, so students get a great deal of personal attention.
The college also offers a variety of online classes for undergraduates. For instance, students pursuing a BS degree in business administration, information assurance or management of information technology have the option of completing their last two years entirely online.
The Critical Infrastructures and Cyber Protection Center offers a variety of professional development courses online in real-time format.
