SSCP

Register Now

Delivered online, the SSCP Examination Preparation Program is conducted in ten, four-hour modules. Each module addresses one of the seven domains of the common bodies of knowledge associated with the official (ISC)² SSCP certification, preparing participants to successfully pass the exam. By passing the SSCP exam and receiving a SSCP certification, IA professionals achieve recognition of their competence and accomplishments. Furthermore, DoD employees and contractors qualify at levels one and two in the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) category, as described in DoD 8570.1.

Program attendees take practice micro examinations on each of the domains as they move through the program. Attendees who successfully complete our SSCP Examination Preparation Program, but have difficulty with the SSCP examination, can do a one-time retake of the program at no additional cost (except textbook costs).

Capitol College does not pay for the SSCP examination or the textbook. Arrangements to take the examination must be made directly with (ISC)². The required textbook is the Official (ISC)² Guide to the SSCP CBK, by Diana-Lynn Contesti et. al. This and other supplemental materials the student might consider can be viewed at the CISSP Book Store.
