Mark Amtower is a nationally renowned author, speaker, CEO coach, consultant and “Godfather” of Government marketing, business development and sales programs and practices. Since starting Amtower & Company in 1985, he has advised hundreds of companies on successfully entering the Government market and growing market share once there. His clients have spanned the gamut from Fortune 100 companies to very small businesses. He has been quoted in more than 175 publications and has been asked to speak at more than 250 events, the former including Federal Computer Week, Forbes, BusinessWeek, Inc, Washington Post and Washington Technology; and the latter including Coalition for Government Procurement, FOSE, MacWorld, The MasterCard Government Financial Summit, Grant Thornton’s CEO Government Roundtable, and the annual Outlook conference. An author and radio personality, Mr. Amtower has penned “Government Marketing Best Practices” (2005), “Why Epiphanies Never Occur to Couch Potatoes” (2007) and “Selling to the Government: What It Takes to Compete and Win in the World’s Largest Market” (John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 2011). His weekly radio show, Amtower Off Center, airs Mondays at 12 p.m. Eastern on Federal News Radio (WFED AM 1500) in Washington, D.C., and is simulcast on www.Federalnewsradio.com. In 2008, Mr. Amtower was recognized by B2B magazine as one of the “Top 100 Business Marketers” in the U.S. A local resident to our nation’s capital and a graduate of the University of Maryland, Mr. Amtower is well known – across industry, within government and around the country – for his thought leadership, and for those that have met him personally, all-black attire.

Kevin P. Young is an executive, consultant and adjunct professor with a long and successful history in the development and execution of marketing and business development strategy, branding plans, programs, processes and metrics across multiple industries. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies to include IBM Federal, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), and Unisys and Gannett. Achievements include announcing AS/400 and RISC System/6000 for IBM, international expansion for Unisys and launching USA TODAY for Gannett. Mr. Young’s consulting clients have included Amdocs (Israel), Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), Datatel, Deloitte, Deltek, ITT Exelis, LandAmerica Financial, Markel, George Mason University’s Volgenau School of Engineering, Outsourcing Institute, Riva Ridge Capital Management and SCT (SunGard). His federal clients have included the Departments of Defense, Energy, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, and Veterans Affairs as well as federal agencies to include NASA and the Small Business Administration. Mr. Young’s notable honors include IBM’s Outstanding Achievement in Marketing Award, IBM's Award of Excellence and the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (as site team). His academic credentials include a bachelor’s degree from Iona College, a master’s degree from Fordham University, and post-baccalaureate studies at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and the University of Richmond Robins School of Business. He is an active member in the American Marketing Association – as well as its Executive Mentor / Protégé Program – and the Business Marketing Association.
