Today, whether in government or civilian sectors, intelligence collection and the proper analysis and interpretation of all source data will mean the difference between adequately protecting or facing the loss or compromise of critical resources and sensitive information. Recognizing this shift at the commercial and national levels, the CICPC offers the intelligence community at-a-distance access to courses and certificate bearing programs in cyber intelligence, security, and operations. Programs deal with the functional areas of the cyber intelligence analysts’ tradecraft, counter cyber terror operations, and cyber law and intelligence for managers.
These non-credit professional certificate programs are tailored to the specific needs of intelligence professionals, with no requirement for students to formally matriculate as they do in traditional academic degree-bearing programs. Course completion documents and applicable certificate(s), including the issuance of CPEs (continuing professional education units), are awarded based on an 80% success rate of course deliverables.
Course structure is a combination of live and asynchronous (not real time) learning sessions. Depending on the particular course details, CPEs will range from 50 to approximately 80 units per course.
