System Administration
Capitol College personnel, mainly students, are responsible for all information technology system administration of SOI furnished hardware and software. In 2002, Capitol College also took over systems administration responsibilities for a majority of the non-SOI provided equipment in the Capitol College operated control centers at Goddard Space Flight Center. Personnel are available to supported operations anytime, day or night, if the need arises. All SOI systems administrators have to complete and pass the NASA offered courses on system administration security on a regular basis.
